In the early 1920s, specialists from the IV (Intelligence) Directorate of the Red Army Headquarters were tasked with “conducting an extensive study covering the activities of the agents of all the most important states that took part in the World War.” The result of the implementation of such a global plan was the prepared K.K. . Zvonarev (real name Zvaigzne K.K.) two volumes of major research: volume 1 - about human intelligence in Tsarist Russia and volume II - about human intelligence in Germany, which were published in 1929-31. under the heading "For official purposes", publication of the IV Directorate of the Staff of the Worker. - Kr. Kr. ArmyThe second book is devoted to the history of German human intelligence. Little-known facts are presented about the personal participation in human intelligence of the German Emperor Wilhelm II. In addition, the author examines and summarizes the characteristic features of the selection, study, verification, recruitment, camouflage, training, instruction, payment and use of German agents laid down in the times of Bismarck and Stieber, which contributed to the formation of the characteristic style of German intelligence. Attention is paid to the traditional intelligence role of both German subjects in neighboring countries and German industrial, commercial and financial enterprises abroad.
