The civil war in Galatia, which the seamstress-sorceress Sophie and her beloved Prince Theodore tried so hard to prevent, finally broke out. While Theodore teams up with Sophie's brother and the reformers in hopes of defeating the outnumbered Royalist army, Sophie uses the only weapon she has: magic. But the bloody struggle between the two opposing sides turns out to be more terrible and dangerous than she could have imagined. The final part of the trilogy, “The Declassified Kingdom,” puts a beautiful end to the story of Sophie Balstrad, who will need much more powerful magic than simple luck charms to help her allies win.
