Children's books by the German artist Rotraut Susanne Berner have become bestsellers in our country. Her illustrations are distinguished by their bright colors, accuracy and attention to the smallest details. This is exactly what a favorite book should be like, one that you can look at, read, put under your pillow, take with you on a trip, and then, as an adult, remember as your favorite childhood book.... Already a winner of prestigious awards in 2006 and 2009, the artist nominated for an award named after G.Kh. Andersen 2012, which is called the "little Nobel Prize" for children's literature. The new book is made up of 29 short stories about the bunny Karlchen. The main character grows up together with his little fans. Every day the bunny Karlchen asks his parents a thousand questions: “How to overcome a bad mood? What is time? Why isn’t the carrot blue?”, he laughs and is sad, quarrels with his peers and learns to be friends. In a word, Karlchen is growing. Now he chats a lot with dad, mom and other children, so all the stories are built in the form of dialogues.
For adults to read to children.
