After incredible adventures in the Impenetrable Thicket, where 12-year-old Prue went with her friend Curtis in search of her little brother Mac, the girl’s life returned to normal. Lessons, school, home, parents. But now Prue increasingly notices that all this no longer arouses any interest in her and that she wants to return there, to the Wild Forest, where her friend Curtis remained, who decided to join the robbers. Inside the Wild Forest, all is not well either: a harsh winter, the threat of famine, constant civil strife and warning signs. At a general council, the inhabitants of the Wild Forest decide to call on Prue so that she and Curtis can help them uncover a secret conspiracy and restore peace to the forest.
