Alexei Vilensky is a young talented surgeon who worked for about 10 years in a Moscow hospital, in the second surgical department. He not only stands at the operating table next to the patient's body. Dr. Vilensky sees patients in the emergency department, makes diagnoses, provides telephone consultations to relatives who doubt whether they urgently need to see a doctor, and talks with his patients and their relatives after discharge.
