In the distant future, humanity has left the solar system to find a new home in the depths of space. The Great Migration was to be supervised by engineers specially created for this purpose - the elite of the human race, supermen, perfect both mentally and physically. But the colonization of the new world did not go at all as planned. A young engineer named Arthur wakes up from cryogenic sleep six hundred years after landing on New Earth. He discovers that the brave new world the engineers were meant to create is covered in the ashes of war. Ancient technology hardly functions, and the inhabitants of the planet are forced to fight for survival both with nature and with each other. The entire planet is a wasteland, scorched by two suns and plunged into chaos. Arthur is the last engineer, the only one who can correct the mistakes of the past and restore human civilization. But to achieve his goal, he has a long way to go from an idealist raised in a society without violence to a true warrior who can overcome any challenge.
