Gabriel Blackstone, a computer hacker, is endowed with a secret gift - the ability to far-sight, that is, to penetrate into the mental space of other people. He was once a member of the secret group “Eye of the Storm” and, using remote vision, participated in the search for missing people, but after a girl died through his fault, he broke all ties with the group. Gabriel doesn't want to remember the past, but Frankie's ex-lover suddenly turns to him and asks him to find her stepson Robert, who disappeared several months ago. Gabrielle jumps into Robert's consciousness and becomes convinced that he is dead. Frankie says that in the last months before his disappearance, Robert communicated a lot with the Monk sisters - Morrigan and Minnalush, intellectuals and beauties who are fond of magic and alchemy. Gabrielle decides to make friends with the sisters because she suspects that one of them killed Robert.
