His relics, placed in a glass sarcophagus, are located above the side altar of Our Lady of the Intercessor in Turin. From behind the glass wall of the sarcophagus, a calm face with expressive features and an easily defined smile catches the eye. It is precisely this that makes it possible to easily recognize the face of St., known from photographs. Giovanni Bosco. This face was imagined by the Holy Father John Paul II at a meeting with the youth of the city of Turin on April 13, 1980, which took place in the Valdocco area in front of the ensemble of buildings housing the work of Don Bosco. Don Bosco comes to life before us on the pages of this story. The author of the biography talks about a poor boy, a hot-tempered student; about a seminarian persistently striving for the priesthood and, finally, about a priest whom some considered abnormal, others considered a dreamer, others a saint, and poor teenagers considered their beloved Friend. He considered himself a poor priest.
