The Art of Form is an exposition of the system of training artists created by Johannes Itten for his famous Fourth Course at the Bauhaus, one of the most innovative schools of art, architecture and design of the 20th century.

In his book, Itten writes that his main task was the need to develop in future artists, architects, and designers a keen sense of form and material, to teach them to think creatively in any situation.
