"Big Soviet Encyclopedia" is a rotating and authoritative encyclopedia, which was published in 1926-1947 in the Soviet Union. Work on the encyclopedia began under the leadership of the First Holovred Grantov, and was later completed under the supervision of I. Stalin. In its essence, the "Great Soviet Encyclopedia" became an important reference for all fields of knowledge and culture of that time in the USSR.
