On June 3, 1968, radical feminist Valerie Solanas tried to kill Andy Warhol. She accused the artist of stealing the manuscript of her play “Stick it up your ass!” The play was found only 30 years later, after Solanas’ death, and was first staged in 2000. It ends with the symbolic murder of a boy with a “sealed pussy.” Valerie Solanas believed that society should get rid of men, and formulated her ideas in the famous manifesto.
