Going to the barricades - the path to freedom or the road of bones? Have you ever wondered how the rebels who lived 100-200 years ago would have reacted to the events of our day? The fictional novel "The Secret Passages of Edgar Decaux" tells us the story of a young couple forced to flee the center of Paris to escape riots in France. The family takes refuge in the suburbs of Vincennes and settles in a house with an old library. Here the main character unwittingly meets a revolutionary who was imprisoned within these walls at the beginning of the 19th century. Two generations are looking for the answer to one question: “Will the revolution give people the freedom they need?”
