Взаємини між Ельсбет і Г’ю Єрусалимським наповнені напругою та емоціями, що робить їхню боротьбу за любов і свободу ще більш захоплюючою. Книга не лише розкриває складнощі жіночої долі в середньовіччі, але й порушує важливі питання про вибір, свободу та справжні цінності.
