Alicia lives in New York and works for a Corporation that protects the rights of unusual creatures: she nurses the children of vampires, werewolves, and aliens. One day the god Hermes brings his son Peter to her and the baby is kidnapped. Hermes disappeared; who Peter's mother is is unknown. An agent of the Corporation, handsome Thomas Dubkin, helps Alicia look for the baby. Who kidnapped him? Harpies hunting the children of the gods for immortality? Mother? Enemies of Hermes (who deceived the aliens)? Vampires? In search of Peter, Alicia and Thomas will travel all over the planet - they will visit Los Angeles, Alaska, Paris and even the village of the Greek gods on Olympus.
