Книга "Холоднокровна зрада" вразила мене своєю напруженою атмосферою та майстерно прописаним сюжетом. Автор створює неймовірно реалістичну картину маленького містечка Ерскдейл, де зазвичай панує спокій, але раптом стається жахливий злочин. Вбивство сім'ї Елкоттів стає справжнім шоком для всіх мешканців, а читачі разом з інспектором Ратліджем занурюються у заплутане розслідування. Особливо вразило, як автор майстерно грає на емоціях, змушуючи читача сумніватися у кожному персонажі та їхніх мотивах. Я не міг відірватися від книги, адже кожна нова деталь додавала інтриги та напруги. Це справжній шедевр детективного жанру, який залишає по собі глибокий слід у пам'яті. Рекомендую всім, хто любить захоплюючі історії з несподіваними поворотами!
