Автор вдало створює атмосферу епохи, наповнену елегантністю і соціальними нормами, які стають фоном для захоплюючої історії про любов, дружбу та самопізнання. Лорд Персі Ніблі, хоч і сором'язливий, виявляється дуже симпатичним героєм, а його взаємодія з бароном Августом Брайтом приносить багато веселих моментів. Міс Пейшенс Пірсон, з її розумом і рішучістю, стає чудовою контрастною фігурою, яка підкреслює розвиток сюжету. Яскраві діалоги, дотепні ситуації та емоційні моменти роблять цю книгу надзвичайно приємною для читання. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче насолодитися легким, але в той же час глибоким романом про кохання та вибір!
