The author of the novel again uses the “magnifying glass effect”, when, by examining the inner world of a creative person, it is easier to highlight all the nuances of the universal human worldview. As they say, “look closely at the soul of the artist, you will understand what the eyes were thinking about in all the portraits he painted” (W. Shakespeare). This action-packed novel takes place in the present day. The artist, who does not strive for fame and honor, paints commercial paintings and leads a rather measured lifestyle. But, from his youth, he draws a series of mystical paintings, one of which “draws” him into the very strange and accentuated mysterious Club of Six. The club consists of a number of extravagant persons with whom the artist is now bound by commercial obligations. The hero's life changes radically, every minute filling with a whirlwind of mysteries, adventures and inspiration. Love stories and twists and turns that happen to the hero are as unpredictable as they are fatal. Who and why he was drawn into the Six Club will remain a mystery until the very last page. The novel is read in one breath, in terms of the writing style and the power of impact on the reader, it is associated with the classics of M. Chekhov - “The Black Monk”, M. Bulgakov - “Theatrical Novel”, M. Orlov - “The Violist Danilov” and many others, but, becoming on a par with them, yet stands out for its active positivism towards life.
