A stingy father, a mother always busy with work, a sick brother - eight-year-old Aaron is left to his own devices, like all his peers from a poor district of Warsaw. Only one person on these streets cares about children - Janusz Korczak, the Old Doctor from the orphanage. When, with the advent of the Nazis, the Jews find themselves in the death trap of the ghetto, Aaron will fight with all his might, to the last, for the life of his family and for the life of the doctor who gave his heart to children...
