This book contains publications by a young Kazakh blogger Timur Tolibaev. The first part of the book presents aphorisms, humorous miniatures, in which Timur’s subtle, unique humor is visible. The second chapter contains Timur’s poems, which he called new haiku, although perhaps they do not fit into the classical definition of this style, but they definitely “break the brain” and force one to expand the horizons of perception of the world. The next chapter of the book presents short stories with main characters and a specific plot. But even here the reader will not find the usual course of the story. The endings of stories are always unexpected. The “Essay” section contains short notes and sketches from everyday life. They contain a lot of sadness and wisdom. Perhaps the most important section of the book is the chapter “Reflections.” Here Timur expresses his point of view on many aspects of public life, politics, and interpersonal relationships directly.
