In 1217, knights from all over Europe set off on a new crusade. Gathering in Palestine, they attack the Muslim fortress on Mount Tabor. The young Count Heinrich von Sternberg, who had dreamed of fighting the Saracens since childhood, was faced with a choice in his first battle - to kill one of the Moorish commanders and cover himself with glory or to save his brother. Without hesitation, Sternberg goes to help his brother, because this is what any true knight would do, for whom caring for others is more important than his own benefit. Alas, not all participants in the campaign are like this, and Sternberg will soon have to be convinced of this. But even if a holy war ceases to be such and is waged for the sake of profit, a knight can find a goal worthy of fighting for it.
