The purpose of this book, as defined by the author, is to describe in an extremely clear form the foundations of possible human knowledge from the point of view of the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff. In a concentrated form, Benjamin presents the main provisions of the fundamental five-volume work of Maurice Nicoll, “Psychological Commentaries on the Teachings of Gurdjieff,” and also draws parallels with the teachings of other outstanding masters of the 20th century.
