More than a thousand years ago, on the territory of modern Mauritania and partially adjacent states, a warlike caliphate was located. The ruler of the caliphate had a personal magician, astrologer and soothsayer at his court. The astrologer had extensive knowledge in various areas of secret knowledge and was highly respected by the ruler. He recorded in detail all the results of magical practices and observations of nature in his “Book of Knowledge,” which was inherited from other great magicians.
