The book explores, partly parallel to the theory of Lev Gumilev, questions of ethnogenesis, but based on the images of the Holy Scripture: the “four animals” of the Cherub and the “twenty-four elders” of the Apocalypse. The author sees the source of passionarity not in the influence of “cosmic radiation”, but in the special arrangement in a certain part of the human race of that part of the genotype that is responsible for temperament. This dispensation is inherited, which is where the “sudden” appearance of passionaries and their “disappearance” comes from: the reason for everything is the innate “psychotype of the actor”... The study reveals the ethnogenetic foundation of such phenomena as the caste system and empires. The problem of the “disappeared” ten tribes of Israel is also considered...
