For most of the history of the species Homo sapiens, we did without clothing at all. But from the moment of its origin, our wardrobe changes according to our needs, morals and morals. And underwear, which we wear relatively recently by historical standards, like no other item of clothing, caused many conflicts, scandals, embarrassments, which were often only possible to resolve with the intervention of the powers that be. But in laundry matters, legal laws operate together with the laws of fashion, morality, and common (and not so common) sense. The author of this book, Polish writer Iwona Wierzba, is confident that the history of underwear reflects the history of human civilization as a whole. And he invites us to look at it boldly, without hypocrisy and with humor. After all, they're just cowards!
