More recently, John Dolan was homeless and unwanted. He spent most of his life on the street, enduring cold and poverty. But one day everything changed thanks to a dog that came to him completely by accident. Now John is a famous artist. He burst into the art world like a bright meteorite, and in this he was helped by George, a Staffordshire terrier, who saved him and made him a different person. John is never separated from his dog. “If it weren’t for him, I would never have picked up a pencil again,” he says.
