In accordance with the current requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education, this textbook covers the classical sections of physical chemistry, outlines its basic laws, and provides examples of their application to both chemical and biochemical processes. Attention is paid to the role of equilibria and spontaneous processes in ecosystems, the properties of solutions, and catalytic processes, including enzymatic ones. Solutions to typical problems are analyzed and tasks for self-control are proposed.
