A fantasy story about a kind artificial intelligence. Naomi Kreitzer has been publishing science fiction and fantasy since the late 1990s, and this year her story “More Cats, Please” won two of the most prestigious awards in the field. Firstly, the Hugo Award, which has existed since 1953 under the patronage of the World Science Fiction Convention, and secondly, the Locus Award, which is awarded by the magazine of the same name. When she's not writing, Kreitzer blogs about grassroots politics and runoff elections in her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota.
