Charles I, who played a major role in a number of important events European medieval history, with his activities completed the era of the “high” Middle Ages and contributed to the formation of state-political and cultural-civilizational borders of the Western world, many of which have survived to this day and influence modern European processes. The book was written based on a large number of sources and historical literature, much of which has not yet been translated into Russian. Addressed to everyone who is interested in the history of Europe.

Я особливо вражений тим, як автор висвітлює взаємозв'язок між політикою, культурою та релігією в епоху, коли ці фактори мали величезний вплив на життя людей.
