Ця книга справді вразила мене своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Сюжет розгортається навколо складних взаємин між Ніком, пластичним хірургом, та Велерою, матір'ю хлопчика, якому він намагається допомогти. Автор майстерно описує внутрішні переживання героїв, їхні страхи, сумніви та бажання, що робить історію дуже близькою та зрозумілою. Конфлікт між обов'язками перед сім'єю та новими почуттями передано з великою чутливістю. Я був захоплений тим, як Нік намагається знайти баланс між своїм професійним обов'язком і особистими почуттями, і як це впливає на його стосунки з дружиною та Велерою. Книга змушує задуматися про складність людських емоцій і виборів, які ми робимо в житті. Рекомендую всім, хто любить глибокі, емоційні історії про любов, втрати та самопізнання.
