The trials in my life literally “forced” me to think even more deeply about the Quran and Islam in general, for which I am infinitely grateful to Allah. This is how this essay that you see in front of you was born. Its purpose is to awaken the consciousness of Muslims, to enliven their hearts, so that it becomes an inspiration to study the Qur'an and Sunnah and be content with what they have. This world is the reason for a person’s deviation from the true path. A person should treat it as a means to an end, and not consider it an end. Umar ibn abd al-Aziz once approached an old man after a funeral and said: “O sheikh, do you think that this deceased person dreams of returning to do good deeds and repent before the Almighty?” The elder replied: “Yes, I swear by Allah!” Then Umar said: “So what’s wrong with us?!” Why can’t we be like this deceased?!” Appreciating every minute, every second of your life, being afraid of losing a little of what you know about religion, thanking Allah for trials is a gift from Allah.
