A British research vessel is hijacked by Somali pirates off the Seychelles. Among the hostages, by coincidence, are three Russian divers - lovers of underwater hunting. The threat to the lives of the captives is great, but they could not imagine that they would soon face a danger many times greater than that posed by pirates. An organism unknown to science, raised by the British from the bottom of the sea, emerges from a state of suspended animation and now craves only one thing - human flesh. Capturing the bodies of victims with the help of parasitic spores, the ancient bloodthirsty creature creates an army of the living dead. They are soulless, irrational and over-aggressive, they don't know whether a person is good or bad. Everyone alive is now just meat for them. To survive, Russian divers and several British form a close-knit group that will have to go through the whole hell of the zombie plague. (Thematic continuation of “Revenge of the Necromancer Priest”)
