During the reign of Queen Victoria, English travelers first visited the boundless, unexplored Arcadia, the land of fairies, the abode of incredible wonders, beyond the control of human understanding or laws. Reverend Laon Helston comes there to convert the local residents to Christianity. The missionary who preached here earlier suffered a sad fate under mysterious circumstances, and soon Laon disappeared without a trace. His sister, Katherine Helston, sets out on a dangerous journey to find her brother, but in Arcadia she finds only a lonely wait in an ominous manor called Gethsemane. And then the news comes: Laon returns - and Queen Mab with her crazy court follows on his heels. Soon Katherine will be convinced that there are secrets that are better not known, and Arkady is much more terrible than it seems at first glance.
