The Jewish theme, which unites the works included in the collection, is not the main one in the work of Mikhail Levitin, but his Jewish essence remains unchanged, giving existence a special meaning, not always, as is commonly thought, tragic, but sometimes imparting a special carnival quality to life and creativity , pride and faith in the rightness of fate.
