The inhabitants of the planet Shaftau revealed to Pertos Gödelhausser the secret of creating living miniature dolls with the genetic structure of a person. Hoping to become rich, Pertos travels to Earth and forces the puppets to perform for wealthy audiences. But soon Gödelhausser, who imagines himself to be a creator God, is killed by his insane assistant Sebastian. A new crazy owner reigns in the theater, who infects the artists with his manic ideas. The dolls are striving for complete liberation, and now Sebastian, who dreamed of running an empire of puppets, himself becomes a toy in their hands.
