The Complete Historical Records of Dai Viet is a state chronicle, the central monument of Vietnam's traditional historical thought. Volume 6 includes chapters XII-XV of the “Basic Annals” of the source, describing the events of 1460-1532, which occurred during the reign of the most famous and illustrious emperor of the Le Sho dynasty - Le Thanh-tong (1460-1497), as well as his heirs , who were unable to maintain the achievements of their great ancestor, which led to the collapse of the dynasty. The appendix includes excerpts from the Chinese chronicles Ming Shi and Ming Shilu regarding Vietnamese-Chinese relations during this period.
