The proposed edition of the book “Native Antiquity” by the pre-revolutionary author V.D. Sipovsky is addressed primarily to middle and high school students. The most important events of Russian history are presented in it in strict accordance with primary sources and scientific developments. At the same time, the simplicity, purity and liveliness of the book’s language make it fascinating and interesting for young people to read. Everything written by the author is imbued with love for the Russian people, joy for them when they live according to Truth and Conscience and for this they are given peace and prosperity, sadness, when they deviate from the Truth and for this they are plunged into the abyss of troubles and misfortunes.
