I. Pulner’s dissertation “Wedding rites among Jews” (1940) is an extensive collection of field ethnographic materials. The dissertation was neither defended nor published: the researcher died in besieged Leningrad. Pulner’s text is supplemented by articles dedicated to this researcher and the history of the creation of his dissertation - D. Yalen “Scientific biography of I. Pulner” and A. Ivanov “Collected documents of I. Pulner in the Russian Ethnographic Museum”, as well as a musicological study by E. Khazdan “Ashkenazi Music weddings: terra incognita" and an ethnographic article by V. Dymshits "Wedding ceremonies among the Jews of Podolia and Bessarabia", based on materials from modern expeditions. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.I. Dymshits, based on the insights gained during the recent expeditions.
