Halloween has become my favorite holiday since I learned about it. It was like love at first sight. It was as if a sly-eyed cupid with black wings and red horns shot an arrow right into my soft spot. As a student, tortured by constant study and part-time jobs for which she received pennies, I could not afford even one weekend spree a month, let alone a beautiful holiday. But a whole year has passed since I ended my five-year torment and left the devil’s abode, having received a good, well-paid job. The first real Halloween in my life was planned to be celebrated so that the glass of the windows of all St. Petersburg’s apartments would ring. And so it was. We had fun until our drunken little heads decided to chat with the spirits, after which I, it seems... died.
