2140th year. More than half a century has passed since the end of the Third World War. There were no winners in this confrontation, but there were plenty of losers. The majority of people living today are survivors of the end of the world in some kind of shelter, as well as their children and grandchildren who will be forced to live in this poisoned post-war time. The planet is almost completely contaminated; various climatic anomalies, natural disasters and other gifts from the Earth poisoned by its ancestors can be found everywhere. The hero of this story, the mercenary Zen, also lives at this time. Mercenary Zen is a forty-year-old professional in his field; they are usually said to be “able to go to hell and come back out.” He is also an excellent sniper. In the current realities, his activities can be in great demand and certainly with good pay. However, Zen still has problems, because at heart he is a deeply unhappy person, left alone with this cruel world.
