The book provides brief characteristics of the natural conditions of all specially protected areas of republican significance in Belarus, the purpose of identifying each object, the occupied area and location relative to administrative boundaries, protected species of animals and plants. The possibility of using protected areas for the purposes of ecotourism is indicated. The book contains 1211 illustrations, incl. 90 maps. The publication is intended for employees of environmental authorities, workers of forestry and agricultural enterprises, tourism workers and tourists, teachers of schools and universities, students, everyone who is interested in nature reserves and nature conservation in our country.
