The story of a biomedical scientist who, in order to save a loved one, infected himself with a resistant form of cancer and then destroyed him in order to understand how to cope with it. The uniqueness of the story: it simultaneously develops storylines with people and events taking place in a microcosm in which there is a fierce struggle for life. The story was included in the shortlist of the literary award "I'm going to the storm" of the magazine "Siberian Lights" and the Novosibirsk science city Koltsovo as one of the best stories about science and scientists of 2022.
