The collection “Three Doves” includes six Tatar folk tales. The choice of specific works was dictated by the desire to show as widely as possible the palette of genres and styles of Tatar folk art - there are heroic-epic, satirical, magical, and philosophical fairy tales. All of them were translated and literary processed by the translator from the Tatar language Alena Karimova. Sunny illustrations by artist Maryam Saderdinova, harmoniously complementing the texts, will help the reader get an idea of Tatar folk culture. The book's endpapers contain fascinating maps of the Great Silk Road and that part of it that passed through the territory of modern Tatarstan. The authors of the maps are Dmitry Makhashvili and Yulia Panipartova. The book is intended for family reading.
