Having destroyed the nest of brawlers, Eric himself finds himself trapped. To avoid death under the rubble, he activates the manuscript received for defeating the Mistress of the Anomaly. The portal instantly transports Eric to the observation deck of the mysterious Citadel of Chaos. The entrance to the Citadel is guarded by the Gatekeeper, a huge troll, clad in armor from head to toe. Thanks to the “Friend of the Trolls” amulet, Eric manages to avoid the fight and thus pass the first test arranged by the Gatekeeper for each applicant who wishes to join the secrets of the Citadel of Chaos. Eric does not care about any secrets, which he directly tells the troll. He even expresses a desire to quietly leave the Citadel. But the Gatekeeper tells Eric that he can’t just leave. The one who activates the manuscript must pass the test - “Unity with Chaos”! On the one hand, Eric understands that participation in this absolutely dangerous enterprise threatens him with the possible loss of his life. But on the other hand, he remembers perfectly what Chaos Magic is capable of.
