Мартін Серваз, головний герой, проходить через складні випробування, які не лише ставлять під загрозу його життя, але й змушують його стикатися з темними сторінками власного минулого. Міньє створює похмуру атмосферу, в якій кожен персонаж має свої таємниці, а кожен крок Серваза веде до нових відкриттів. Я особливо ціную, як автор майстерно розкриває теми зради та моральної відповідальності, змушуючи читача задуматися про наслідки своїх дій.
