5 large managers: four men and a woman (their names are the names of Parisian metro stations, which indicates a certain route they follow to the top of their careers), are preparing a very delicate contract worth several billion francs, trying to use a unique situation in their own careers goals and get around each other. (The case concerns the largest weapons production.) Particular tension in the plot is given by the intervention of radio and TV in the situation, as well as the cynical and mocking “puppeteer” - the most important of the bosses. The play’s genre is a skillfully mixed cocktail of comedy, satire and drama. Unsatisfied human passions, the rivalry of completely well-bred people lead to the construction of a very complex and murderous intrigue, which develops in the form of an elegant, funny, purely French dialogue.

In 2001, “The Directors” received the National Moliere Prize in France. And for the second year now it has been successfully played every day at the Montparnasse de Poche theater in Paris.
