The Carolingian Empire is on the verge of collapse. The grandchildren of Charlemagne engaged in mortal combat for the inheritance left by their grandfather and father. The Varangian Falcon, aka Vojislav Rerik, intervenes in the dispute between the crowned brothers in order to prove to the Christian world that Svetovid’s power has not yet dried up, that the Rotary Russians are quite capable of not only destroying someone else’s empire, but also creating their own. And they will be helped in this by another Slavic idol - Chernobog, who bestows magical power only on those who deserve it.
