Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та таємниці, що змушує читача відчувати себе частиною розслідування. Сюжет, що об'єднує два паралельні випадки, сповнений несподіваних поворотів та інтриг, які тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Персонажі, зокрема інспектор Луїза Сміт, прописані дуже детально, і їхні переживання та емоції роблять історію ще більш захопливою. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить якісні трилери з непередбачуваними фіналами. Це читання, яке залишає слід у пам'яті і змушує задуматися про темні сторони людської природи.
