The book presents algorithms with which this problem can be solved using digital signal processing methods. Essentially, this is about detecting areas of a speech file that deviate from typical areas in that file. This means that areas corresponding to the emotional arousal of the speaker are highlighted. The program does not determine the nature of this excitation.
