A typical provincial New England town (maybe Salem!). A certain artist rents a house for the summer so that he can finish several of his paintings without too much fuss. A friend who came to visit him finds the painter in a rather exhausted state, with a clearly upset psyche. The artist tells frightening tales about the ghost of a witch who once owned this house, who died here and was buried nearby, as well as about sleepless nights and the urge to step through the doorway of a non-existent room...© igor14
