The whole story begins in the small French village of Montelview in 1308. One beautiful girl decided to retire with her friends in their hiding place, located at the foot of the mountains. There, the girl asked for advice to turn to the ancient book of knowledge in order to improve their personal destinies - life was impossible without men in those days. But having disobeyed the negative advice of her friends, the girl nevertheless decides to take an action that changed her whole life. The girl opened a time portal, from which, willy-nilly, the next day the betrothed appeared, in tattered rags of foreign origin. From this moment on, the girl has a road full of extraordinary adventures to other worlds. Author's notes: I consider it a gross mistake in this part - the constant change of location of the heroes. At the beginning I couldn’t stretch and hold the plot in any way. Some are written based on documentaries and articles - inquisitors, the Vatican court, the names of minor characters. Initially, the idea of the novel was created to bring young talents closer to the stories of civilizations in the style of a fairy tale.
